EVEN does not use passwords. You sign in with your email address or your phone number, we send you a 6-digit code, and you are in.
Signing in
Enter your email address or phone number on the sign-in screen.
Check for a 6-digit code. It arrives by email or text depending on which you used.
Enter the code. That is it. There is no password to remember or reset.
The one thing that matters most
Each sign-in method is its own separate account.
Email, phone number, Google and Apple are four different accounts rather than four ways into one. A release you bought with your email will not appear if you sign in with your phone number, even though both belong to you.
So pick one method and stay with it. If you are not sure which one you used, check your receipt email. It will be addressed to the email or phone number the purchase is attached to.
If your code does not arrive
Codes can take a minute, and requesting several at once tends to make things worse rather than better. Request one and give it a moment.
For text messages: check your number is entered correctly including the country code, and that your carrier is not filtering shortcodes.
For email: check your spam folder.
If text codes keep failing, sign in with your email address instead. If your purchases are attached to the phone-number account, message us and we will move them across to email sign-in.
If you think you have two accounts
This happens more often than you would expect, because signing in a different way creates a new account rather than finding the old one. Accounts cannot currently be merged.
The fix is to pick the account you want to keep and tell us. Send us the receipt emails for anything sitting on the other account and we will move those purchases across.
Changing your email or phone number
Open your account page, edit your details, and confirm the change with a code.
Worth doing before you lose access to an old inbox or phone number rather than after, because your sign-in depends on it.
