Every track uploaded to EVEN runs through two automatic checks: one for copyright and one for AI-generated audio. They do very different things, and it is worth knowing which one you are looking at.
What the AI tag actually does
If AI-generated audio is detected, we add a disclosure tag to your release that your fans can see.
It does not block your release. It does not pull it from sale. It does not move it to Disputed. Nothing is broken and there is nothing you need to fix for your release to go live and sell.
AI-generated music is allowed on EVEN. It only needs to be disclosed.
If your track is tagged and it is not AI
Email [email protected] with:
Your artist name
The release name
The specific track
If your release date is close, say so in the subject line and we will look at it first.
This is not the same as a copyright flag
If your release is showing as Disputed rather than carrying an AI label, that is the copyright check rather than the AI check, and it works differently. A copyright flag does block publishing and does pull a live release from sale.
See Why Is My Release Showing as Disputed? if that is what you are seeing.
